Ms. Marvel #1 (2014) CGC 9.8 – Kamala Khan

A yellow lightning bolt, patterned scarf and clenched hand anchor Sara Pichelli’s cover for Ms. Marvel #1. The cropped portrait keeps the focus on the character’s clothing and gesture, while the bright pink masthead gives the image a distinctive identity among superhero debut covers.

Published by Marvel Comics in April 2014, this opening issue features a G. Willow Wilson story with Adrian Alphona art and a Sara Pichelli cover, as credited on the CGC label. The label notes that Kamala Khan becomes the new Ms. Marvel; this listing does not describe the issue as her first appearance.
