Absolute Carnage #1 (2019) CGC 9.8 – Deodato Sketch Cover

Clawed hands, grinning symbiote faces and tangled tendrils fill Mike Deodato’s black-and-white cover for Absolute Carnage #1. The red title cuts through the monochrome artwork, giving this sketch edition a stark, graphic presence on display.

Published by Marvel Comics in October 2019, this first issue features a Donny Cates story with interior art by Ryan Stegman and JP Mayer. The CGC label identifies the Deodato Sketch Cover. “Sketch Cover” refers to this printed variant edition, not an original hand-drawn sketch on the book.

A striking choice for Carnage and symbiote collectors, especially those drawn to the linework and contrast of black-and-white variants. Front and back photographs show the actual graded comic offered.
