Invincible #23 (2005) PSA 9.6 – First Thaedus and Lucan

An orange, one-eyed alien flashes a peace sign amid a crowded extraterrestrial dining scene on the cover of Invincible #23. The surrounding diners, scattered dishes and star-filled view give the image a playful science-fiction atmosphere, offering a change of pace from a conventional superhero battle cover.

Published by Image Comics in June 2005, this issue features the first appearances of Thaedus and Lucan, as noted on the PSA label. The cover credits Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley and Bill Crabtree, connecting the issue to the creative team’s distinctive mix of superhero action and expansive alien worlds.
