Return and Refund Policy

At Local Comic Shop, we value our customers and want you to enjoy every purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

🔁 Returns

In-Store Purchases:

Return Window: Within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt.
Item Condition: Must be unread, unopened, and in resellable condition.
Non-returnable items include:
- Mystery boxes/blind bags
- Clearance/sale items
- Special orders or pre-orders
- Digital comics or gift cards
- Items Purchased from Consignment

Online Orders:

Contact us at mike@localcomicshop.net within 7 days of delivery to request a return.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
Items must be returned in original condition and packaging.

💸 Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
If you received a damaged or defective item, please email:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
- A brief description

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if items show signs of use, damage, fall outside the return window or if we determine the refund policy is being abused

📦 Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please report damaged or incorrect items within 48 hours of receiving your order. Email us at mike@localcomicshop.net with:

Order number
Description of the issue
Supporting photos

We will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit depending on availability and the situation.

🔄 Exchanges

Exchanges can be made within 14 days, subject to availability.
If the desired item is out of stock, a refund or store credit may be offered.

🧾 Proof of Purchase Required

Please retain your receipt, order confirmation, or invoice — returns and refunds will not be processed without it.

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Prices, product availability, and promotions are subject to change without notice.
We do our best to ensure product images and descriptions are accurate, but we cannot guarantee that all details are error-free.
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion.

3. 💳 Payment

We accept major credit/debit cards, cash (in-store), and approved digital payment methods.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed (e.g., special orders).
Payment information is processed securely; we do not store payment card details.

4. 🚚 Shipping & Delivery

For online orders:

Shipping is available within Canada unless otherwise specified.
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, and delivery times vary by location.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or incorrect address entries.
